Quoth the Poet/Dramatist:
Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery hand in hand,
For the world’s more full of weeping than you can understand.
-William Butler Yeats, “The Stolen Child”
This is a quote blog run by me, Krista, who is also the one behind Ode to the Good Old Days .
I am really burned out on those hipster love and hate quotes, you know the ones I'm talking about.
Here, you'll find intelligent words spoken by intelligent people of the past and some from the present. Some will concern love, others will be humorous, all will be relatively upbeat with an exception here and there.
I'm also interested in posting good advice we've been given from important people in our daily lives such as our parents, grandparents, etc.
You can submit things to me if you so choose.
If you love vintage life & entertainment, feel free to follow the above link if you aren't already!
